i'm a sensitive vata with a vata imbalance. i'm moving into a new room and looking to make it feel as stable and grounding as possible. the room has two doors. i have a feeling that the two doors will create a flow through of energy that might be distracting and vata provoking. does anyone have any vaastu insight that would address this concern? i was thinking that it may help to use only one door, keeping one door permanetly shut and/or blocked by funiture as though it were not a door at all. is it considered beneficial in vaastu to have two doors? for all the doshas? any suggestions???

I don't know much about vastu, but I would keep one door closed all the time and use only the other one. I wouldn't block it with anything, though, in case of an emergency. Maybe hang a tapestry or something on it so it seems more like a decoration than a door?

Also, in general for Vatas, make sure your environment is decorated in soothing colors (warm skin-tone colors are relaxing, and green is generally good for Vata) and not too over-decorated. Keep it simple, snug, and not overly stimulating. Use materials and colors that are the opposite of Vata traits. Vata is light, moving, changing, cold, and thin - use warm earth tones, stoneware, heavy/dense things, deep colors, "grounded" furniture and decorations.
