Im a bit new to Ayurveda but I've just learned how to detect Vata, Pitta and Karpha from myself and others with your pulse and three fingers....
If you have any information that you would like to share about things you can learn and discover from reading pulses then please feel free to share as I myself am eager to learn more.
All the best ^_^

Re: Pulses....
Thu, February 28, 2008 - 10:09 AMif the pulse feels like a very small, quick moving leech that kind of winds to the side (on the V finger), then it very well might be Krumi, or Krimi, Parasites or amoeba. Get Dr. Lads book on pulse.

Re: Pulses....
Thu, February 28, 2008 - 4:06 PMIf you take the pulse during the specific windows of day ( during Vata, Pitta, Kappha hours), that dosha will always register more predominantly and this should be taken into consideration. -
