Disease of the heart is a very serious problem. It sounds as though the treatments you have gone through already did not include much in the way of preventative regimin. This is speciality of Ayurvedic medicine, and there are many recommendations that are given in this regard. If you are looking to adopt a more holistic aproach to this issue, I suggest that you locate an Ayurvedic practitioner and have a seesion. There are many factors in issuing a treatment for any disease (including constitution, locale, season, diet, habituations), and the same substance which sures a disease in one person, can be very dangerous for another. As people tend to read information as a prescription, followed by self medication, I recommend this apporach.
