hi guys,
well, i am mom of 2 years old baby girl. My hubby and I were using condoms for preventing pregancy from the past 2 years. but from last month we are not using them as we are planing to have our next baby. but my problem is that , when we have sexual intercourse afterwards in the morning i feel pain in my left side of the abdomen right there on the kidney location area. I suspect that its because of my hubby ejaculates inside and this way i get pain afterwards. I have seen my doctor, she has checked me well, i have done ultrasound, urine tests, blood tests, all came fine i have no kidney problem . the doc says its just infection and nothing to worry, she doesnt associates it with the thing which i tell her that i only experience this pain only when after wards when we have sex. can anyone help me, i am afraid to have intercourse next time as currently i have taking medicines mainly antibiotics for the infection. can anyone help me??
thank you.

    See an Ayurvedic doctor.

Could also be related to anxiety about not using a condom.

Your husband should be checked for infection too.

Try sex with a condom after the pain is gone and see if there is more pain, then try it again without.

If they can't find a specific infection, then you shouldn't be taking antibiotics.

Could be muscle, tendon, ligament sprain / strain or some type of scar tissue that is being aggravated in the abdominal area.

    See an Ayurvedic doctor.

Hi, Pain in the left kidney area might be a sign of weak kidney yin and low ojas, ojas is the vital essence that is depleted in the body by intercourse, it is also the pure essence of all bodily fluids and kapha in the body. Some suggestions for increasing ojas are: eat ghee on rice and cook with it in general, drink warm milk with sweetener, and if you can obtain any ayurvedic herbs, blend it or cook it with Shatavari, and Vidhari (wild yam). Also you can soak over night and peel in the morning ten almonds, add a pinch of cardamum, saffron, and a tsp of raw sugar and blend with hot milk. Aloe gel is also great, eat 1 to 3 tablespoons per day, fresh is best. Do plenty of Yoga, meditation and chanting, it's great for OJas. Especialy postures that bend at the waist like Yoga Mudra, Durga pranam, Cobra, and a gentle spinal twist. Eat plenty of roots and fruits. Urud dhal is also very good, especially if you know how to make Dosa.

      hey Meggy keep us informed,

I agree with Aaron about first try increasing your Ojas, that is most important.

I also would recommend doing the Gayatri mantra untill you get pregnant, (it is often too heating of a mantra for a pregnant women). But it should help purify the body to bring in another atma (soul). Pregancy has the physical level of the body being ready, the emotional level of the mind being ready and the relationship of the parents to the atma. I have seen when their are odd pains in the body when either trying to conceive or after a close relative has died that it often relates to the atma level issue. In women it generally happens in the abdomonal area while in men it will often be sacral pain (as this is where the atma wanting to be born attaches itself to the male).
Just a thought.........There is also another mantra related to this level of problem which will be beneficial (if this is the root cause):
Santana Gopala mantra: Is for difficulties related to having children, it is done along with worshipping Krsna as a baby (though can be any form of the divine as a child- Buddha when he was first born, Baby Jesus, etc) though the mantra stays the same:
      Devakiisutam govindam vaasudevam jagatpate
Dehi me tanayaM KriSNa twaam-ahaM SharaNagataH.

ask your doctor about PID..i have pain in my abdomen after intercourse and it was Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. there's really no way to test for it so its hard for doctors to put their finger on. its curable with 2 weeks of antibiotics.
